Evelyn Thomas selected to represent Wales at the forthcoming Para Powerlifting National Championships

Weightlifting Wales development squad para athlete Evelyn Thomas has been selected to represent Wales at the Para Powerlifting National Championships, which are to be held in Ireland on Saturday 16th November. 

A huge congratulations to Evelyn Thomas, selected to represent Wales at the forthcoming Para Powerlifting National Championships, in Ireland. A World Para Powerlifting sanctioned event with additional entry places for international athletes. 

Evelyn competes in Dublin on Saturday 16th November at the IWA Wheelchair Association Centre and we wish her every success. This selection is a tremendous achievement and a testament to Evelyn's hard work, dedication, and outstanding performances in recent para powerlifting competitions.

Evelyn has consistently demonstrated incredible strength, resilience, and passion for para powerlifting, making her an inspiring role model within Weightlifting Wales. Her selection to compete at the national level is a reflection of her commitment to excellence and her relentless pursuit of personal and professional growth in para powerlifting.

The Para Powerlifting National Championships bring together the best para athletes from across the globe, and we are proud to have Evelyn representing Wales on this prestigious stage. We're grateful to The National Lottery, whose funding allows athletes like Evelyn to participate in such competitions and develop in our sport.
