The Coach & Technical Official license requires all to have in place a valid Safeguarding qualification, uploaded and approved on Sport 80. Without this qualification in place licenses may be suspended.
To support our Coach & TO volunteers we have partnered with UK coaching to offer free resources/workshops, and courses, as well information surrounding safeguarding qualifications. UK coaching have worked with the NSPCC’s Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) to set the right standards and raise awareness among coaches of how to recognise and respond to matters of safeguarding children. They have also partnered with The Ann Craft Trust to offer learning on how to support and promote the welfare of adults, and with the CPSU on training for welfare officers.
