This has been Weightlifting Wales’ first international competition since the beginning of the of the pandemic. The team consisted of 9 development athletes from the following age groups, U15, U17 and U20.

A strong performance shown from all the team, with U17 athlete, Charlotte Whalley and U20 athlete, Chloe Hood winning bronze medals amongst a senior field. A special mention to the following athletes for their first-time representing Wales, Nikole Roberts, Molly Greenwood and Grace Morris.

Weightlifting Wales want to congratulate all the athletes on their performances, from the PBs to the missed attempts, each competition is a learning opportunity and our aim here at Weightlifting Wales is to expose developing athletes to these situations to gain experience and aid their future progress.
