Weightlifting Wales is delighted to announce the appointment of Christian Pszyk as Performance Pathway Manager.

Weightlifting Wales is delighted to announce the appointment of Christian Pszyk as Performance Pathway Manager. Christian has previously worked with British Judo, Premier League academies, and also manages his own consultancy. Christian will begin his position in June.

Christian said, "I have a huge passion for sport, and I am excited to be involved with Weightlifting Wales as the new Performance Pathway Manager. I am a Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist and have previously worked with Premier League academies, British Judo, DiSE and TASS programmes as well as running my own consultancy with a range of professional athletes, coaches and organisations.”

“I am thrilled to contribute towards building the pathway to elite performance in Weightlifting, and to be part of this incredible programme, looking forward to the British Championships, the Commonwealth Championships and beyond."

Simon Roach, Strategy and Development Manager of Weightlifting Wales commented on this announcement by saying, “We are delighted to appoint Christian as the new Performance Pathway Manager. With experience from various sports and from the fields of Psychology, we believe Christian has the knowledge and the ability to develop the performance structure and support athletes as they progress through the Welsh pathway. We are looking forward to Christian beginning his role at Weightlifting Wales.”
